In honor of Father's Day...
I decided that I would upload some pictures that I have of my father. I'm starting with this one because it is my favorite. I love the Coca Cola sign in the background... as well as his shirt. Besides, I think he looks cute here.
Although I see him now... I never thought these photos looked like him. He was a much older man by the time I was born. These are from a whole nother world.
I have certainly mentioned my father before on my photostream. www.flickr.com/photos/18286504@N00/396669352/in/set-72157... He was out of the picture pretty early in my life. We never had the pleasure of having a relationship beyond that of a 7 year old... growing up, I was always aware of what the situation was. (and) knew pretty much what the rest of the family thought of his decisions in life... but somehow, I could never find it in myself to think poorly of him.
I remember always thinking that I should hate him more then I ever did... I just didn't... I most definitely came to appreciate my mom more though. She was both Mother and father.
