Entertainment center my dad made...
My dad was an electrician and quite good at building things. This was a 9 ft. long entertainment center that he built. The three sections in the middle each opened up. With various items inside like TV, stereo/radio, real to real(!)... stuff that would have been of current interest at the time. The two outer sections had speakers in them.
There was also three smaller units that layed on top. They must have been moved in this picture to make room for the holiday stuff. One item was a control panel and the other two were more speakers.
On a more elaborate scale. My dad bought an old school bus and turned it into a trailer for when we went on vacation... this trully was amazing. It had a kitchen, shower, sleeping area, and visiting nook. With lots of paneling... after all, it was the 1960's/70's.
My only gripe about it was that he painted the outside green & yellow. "John Deere colors I guess". Unfortunately, I do not seem to have a photo of this anymore.
