A trip to the Borgfeld Wümmewiesen.

 

When I woke up, the sky was completely overcast.

My weather app was wrong again the evening before, as it had forecast few clouds.

But after a coffee and a detailed reading of various weather forecasts and especially the cloud radar, the chances of seeing the sun didn't look too bad.

Knowing that there was a certain residual risk to see a contourless white cloud cover instead of a glorious sunrise, I drove off.

Once there, an icy wind was blowing - a good sign. It slowly began to open the cloud cover and so this morning there was a beautiful picture of moving clouds at dawn.

Ein Ausflug in die Borgfelder Wümmewiesen.

 

Als ich aufwachte, war der Himmel vollständig bedeckt.

Meine Wetterapp lag am Abend zuvor also wiedereinmal falsch, hatte sie doch wenig Wolken vorhergesagt.

Aber nach einem Kaffee und der ausführlichen Lektüre diverser Wettervorhesagen und vor allem des Wolkenradars sahen die Chancen die Sonne zu sehen nicht allzu schlecht aus.

Wohl wissend, dass ein gewisses Restrisiko bestehen bleibt nur eine konturlose weiße Wolkendecke anstatt eines herrlichen Sonnenaufgangs zu sehen, fuhr ich also los.

Vor Ort angekommen, wehte ein eisiger Wind - ein gutes Zeichen. Er begann langsam die Wolkendecke zu öffnen und so ergab sich an diesem Morgen ein schönes Bild ziehender Wolken in der Morgendämmerung.
