East Anglian Jigsaw Club - Navajo Sing
350 pieces, 15" x 11".
I bought this puzzle sight unseen at the house party, because of the title! The print is 'Navajo sing' by Navajo artist Quincy Tahoma (1920 - 1956). It's great to have a picture of Navajo life painted by one of the Navajo people.
The puzzle was cut in 1959 by Andrew Kershaw's grandmother, Dolly Mc Dougall, for the East Anglian Jigsaw Club. I wonder where she came across the print?
I found it pretty hard to make sense of without a guide picture, - its fiddly pieces are well cut along colour lines. A keeper.
