12th September 1964 at 11:56. Tintern station yard, station building, signal box and 2-lever groundframe after abandonment by British Railways. The groundframe is seen opposite the siding turnout. To rear of camera, the line was single track and crossed the River Wye on a 69-yard timber-decked bridge (since removed) to then enter the short Tintern tunnel. The station including signal box has since been converted into an attractive visitor centre,
