Fuzzy Litt'l Pup
This was my first sighting of one of the thirteen-lined ground squirrel pups in my back yard. These squirrels are born blind, usually taking about a month before they can open their eyes and see well enough to leave their dens. This one is approximately 2" tall (photo was cropped). I shot this through my window as it was way too skittish for me to take a photo outside.
