Cuteness! (Explored)
These baby thirteen-lined ground squirrels (striped gophers) live in my back yard and have their holes to their burrows right next to my patio. They look to be around 3" tall, excluding their tail; the adult squirrel's average height is approximately 7". Both of them were pretty cute to watch playing together and popping their heads in and out of the hole. This photo was taken through my sliding glass door.
