Just A Tree ?
They’re never just a tree are they ….if we think about all they do; all they see…..struggles during draughts, floods, less nutrition in soil, pollution all around and the vast majority is kept hidden until the stress of it all begins to show on the outside. I got a chopping board for a Christmas present 25 years of their life to end up on the kitchen worktop, taking the the brunt of any leftover droplets of my passive aggressiveness while dissecting plant life 😳😳 But the trees don’t stop there just being but trapped …they can’t get away from all the roles they play, whether in a famous film or just a couples intimate moments - hopefully not painfully craved into their trunk skin or taking the burn from stay wire wool sparks. I seem to be more and more elephant and take solace and a higher greatness from these ents around us. It had been a year or so since nipping to see today’s showcase of Tree and snow (real snow not a dig deep into a previous year’s magical coating of complete destruction to the English infrastructure) time goes so quickly but still felt like yesterday…unfortunately not enough of the giggle and happiness inducing healthy good for the soul white stuff but a scene of heartwarming nostalgia…. and utter proudness of a dawg mom and how good a dawg my Hero is ❤️💫🐕
