Taken from Castelgrande. Castello di Montebello directly in view. Castello di Sasso Corbaro on the peak behind it. After reading how Genghis Khan's armies overcame any fortification they encountered, fortresses no longer look the same to me. :-) This is part of the three castles/ramparts in Belinzona that have been designated a Unesco World Heritage site..
