Hochhäuser ragen in den Himmel, geschäftiges Treiben überall, Menschen bummeln durch ein Shoppingcenter, gehen ins Kino und sitzen im Café. Wenn Sie den Film "Der Himmel über Berlin" von 1987 sehen und den heutigen Potsdamer Platz betrachten, dann können Sie sich bestimmt auch kaum vorstellen, dass es sich um ein und denselben Ort handelt.
Auf der einstigen Leerfläche, durchzogen von der Berliner Mauer, ist nach dem Mauerfall ein lebendiges neues Stadtviertel entstanden.
