2019 Connelly Competition
Specialist Jaiden Thomas of the 195th Forward Support Company (Airborne) measures freeze dried milk for bread pudding as the dessert portion of the 52nd Annual Phillip A. Connelly Competition held at the Mead Training Site, Mead, Nebraska on August 10, 2019.
The Phillip A. Connelly Competition was established in 1968 to recognize excellence in Army Food Service. During the Reserve and National Guard categories, one meal (lunch) is evaluated consisting of line item A-rations. Winners of the Regional competition will move on to the national level.
