2019 Connelly Competition
A pot of broccoli cheese soup simmers as a Soldier of the 195th Forward Support Company (Airborne) ladles potatoes out of another container for the 52nd Annual Phillip A. Connelly Competition held at the Mead Training Site, Mead, Nebraska on August 10, 2019.
The Phillip A. Connelly Competition was established in 1968 to recognize excellence in Army Food Service. During the Reserve and National Guard categories, one meal (lunch) is evaluated consisting of line item A-rations. Winners of the Regional competition will move on to the national level.
