Norfolk Southern P29 (the New Bern to Morehead City turn) rolling east through Newport, NC on the former Atlantic & East Carolina.
SD70ACe No. 1064 was the power for NS P29 during that time. Since the start of precision scheduled railroading in 2019, it has become fairly rare to see EMD power on Norfolk Southern locals in eastern North Carolina.
The Port of Morehead City was closed for Thanksgiving and trough the weekend, resulting in an extra-long eastbound consist of 68 cars - 15 for Hanson Aggregates and 53 for the Port of Morehead City. The SD70ACe ran long hood forward on the eastbound trip from New Bern.
