Chipping Sparrow (Spizella passerina) Wolfe Park, Columbus, Ohio, USA

This was one of the last photos I took in Ohio before moving away. Without any cars my last days of birding in Ohio were all local spots in Bexley. One of the parks I birded was Wolfe Park where I found this Chipping Sparrow catching bugs near the bike trail. Chipping Sparrows are a resident species in Ohio although they are far less common in the wintertime. During the summer they were super common in the area I lived in, and they were one of my typical summer yard birds.
