Two Classics
I've always liked the looks of EMD's GP30. Soo 700 gives us plenty of opportunity to photograph one in operation but BNSF still maintains a few GP30 body designs, including 2821 (ex-GN 3005) rebuilt to a GP39M. The normal pair of geeps used on job 113 were assigned to work a snow dozer so this single unit was used on the Harvest States delivery. Cloudy, but pretty unusual to get a single GP30-body unit down at the waterfront.
