MJ Meet 1981
Motivated by an excellent shot by Paul Enenbach of the smashboard at MJ crossing in South Superior, I dug this slide up that shows two empty grain trains meeting in 1981. The BN train arrived first while the Soo Line train holds under Tower Avenue with the smashboard in its proper lowered position. The brakeman is walking up to reset the interlocking for his westward move.
