The Beloved Terminal
Three EMD switchers belonging to "The Terminal" rest at BN's Belknap Street roundhouse in October 1981. These GN-painted units were a favorite of photographers until the jointly owned (BN, CNW, Soo) terminal railroad was abolished in 1985. MTM in the Twin Cities ended up with a number of Lake Superior Terminal & Transfer units with one (105) painted in NP colors.
