25th Anniversary
It is hard to believe that U30C No. 3000 just celebrated its 25th Anniversary working on the LS&I (acquired from BN in April 1989). Here the venerable U-Boat and sister 3011 work the 7-Weigher towards Partridge with loads (vans) for Sault Ste. Marie. They spent 15 years in service on BN and 25 on the LS&I, pretty good for a model that didn't have the staying power of the SD40-2.
