Rocky Mountain NP 01
Travel Memories 16 of 365.
We were supposed to go to Yellowstone National Park but couldn't arrange accommodations, so the travel agent suggested Rocky Mountain National Park. We got a very nice condo in Winter Park for a week and really enjoyed the trip.
On the 19th of September we drove south across Berthold Pass and then north along the front range and entered the park from Estes Park, Colorado and drove the Trail Ridge Road from east to west through the park back to our condo, stopping for short hikes and photography. It was a great day.
This photograph is from the west side of the continental divide near the Never Summer Ranch.
This photograph was made with my Kodak Avantix C700 which I bought on the way to Colorado because I wanted to be able to make panoramic shots. It turned out the panoramas were just cropped versions of the image, but I did not know that or much about photography at the time.
