Leopard!
Well, I know that this is not the best quality image in my photostream (the camera was set far beyond its capabilities), but it is for sure the most special one of all the pictures I have taken in my whole life. It corresponds to a female leopard (identified as LF8 by Cathie, the biologist responsible for the leopard conservation in Hluhluwe) that decided to present us with one of the most exciting moments we have ever lived. We were coming back to the camp a little late at night when we encountered her in the road. She did not seem scared and allowed us to follow her during almost 15 minutes! It was just amazing to see her stylish movements that close. That was the perfect ending of a day in which we were able to have the Big Five less than 3 metres away from us (note that the leopard is by far the most difficult of them to see since they are very shy and mainly active at night).
