Wild Ocean Woman emerges

Within an hour of arriving at camp, I was lying down on the dock

taking pictures of the water. And for the whole time I was camping, I

didn't comb my hair. So after 5 days, including 3 days spent paddling

around the harbour, I had this huge matted sea-air-scented squirrels'

nest on my head. It felt great, perfectly natural, until it was time

to disembark the last ferry before Vancouver ... I looked around at

all the coiffed fashionable people and felt self-consious of my

squirrels' nest (and my grubby jeans, and my layered tees). But then I

got over it. Woohoo! Fashionable people only WISH they could have as

much fun as me!!!!
