Left eye
Yesterday, the head of my giraffe was dryer, so I decided to glue the eyes. I first baked them (to make the Porcelana paint harden) then glued them in place with hot glue. I noticed that the eyes were not alike. One seems less shiny... well.... so be it. I don't have time to make another. I also added an eyelid. Now, the head has to dry for some more days. Today, while I was taking those photos, something strange happened... I had already read about that in some magazines about doll creation and it was my turn.... the giraffe began to talk to me in my head! LOL!!!! :) She told me that it was OK if her eyes were not alike, since she has glaucoma and a cataract in the right one. And she also told me that she was not going to tell me her name right now. She going to wait to have her little costume! DUH!!! :P Today, I will try to make her a small giraffe-doll, since I can't work on her for a few more days...
