In 1979 I made a Super 8 film of a Neo-Nazi rally in Concord, CA. There were about 1000 protesters (mostly groups like the Communist Workers Party, Spartacus Youth League, etc.), 200 cops, 50 media personnel and 8 Nazis. There were dirt bombs, mace, clubs, burning effigies. All great 70's fun. These some are frame grabs that I pulled from a bad transfer of my film.
