Chateau de Chenonceau
Chateau de Chenonceau in the Loire Valley in France. I shot this on an intensely sunny and bright September afternoon and the biggest problem I had was just keeping the contrast under control. Had I known anything about HDR when I shot it, I would have used that technique, but I didn't--instead I shot bracketed exposures, chose the best and then spent a lot of time in Photoshop finding an acceptable contrast balance (by playing withe curves tool, mainly).
