Chalk hills .
The line of hills goes for quite some way, the hill with the lights on is called Truliegh hill, during WW2 it was a radar station and later an early warning station during the cold war, now it is a telephone mast, the lights are a warning to aircraft who use Shoreham airport. Further along is Cissbury ring another high point which is a summer sunset spot I like to go to.
This spot is called the Devils dyke and affords views over a large part of Sussex. The little Hamlet below is called Edburton .
