Northwest Expressway

11x14 watercolor I drive this road every morning to work and did this painting to capture the dramatic sunrise I saw one morning. I'm driving right into the sun when it finally crests the horizon and it makes it extremely difficult to drive. This painting will remind me how nice it is right before the dawn.
