Lately I have infinity, and now, like
the aging crescent in the sky, I want to
beam all the gilded light I'll ever see
at drab corners, my face shadowed
by degrees until I am drained of craving,
my self a shrinking balloon---a sack
ready to catch a wing, a grace note, a minim
of stars, whatever comes next.
