This is from a blank book my Dad has; the book is a record of the expenditures and income connected to the old two-room schoolhouse at Sorrells Springs in Walton County. I believe the schoolhouse was built around 1838. C.J. Sorrells, for many years the highly respected county sheriff, was my paternal grandfather.
