Meet Crash - 253rd Blood Battalion
MED Lead Engineer and maintenance crew leader. CT-3499 is one of the strongest clones in the battalion, been through more than even Redwing or Pharaoh. 3499 accompanied 12 of his brothers on a scouting flight in a LAAT Gunship when shrapnel peppered the flying vehicle. Piercing the front cockpits and instantly killing the pilots. He made the split second decision to jump to the planet’s surface when his brothers told him to just hold on. Falling over 80 meters, the clone broke his legs and his left arm was ripped off as he fell through the treetops. Thankfully the blast was seen from central command’s observatory deck and a medic ship was sent immediately. Finding this clone alone in the forest some 200 meters south of the crash site. 3499 awoke in the medbay to a brand new arm and pair of legs. But a lack of his old friends, he had made a wise choice, jumping had saved him. Or what was left of him anyways. All 12 of his brothers were killed in the ship’s crash. Being the sole survivor, he earned the name Crash, a constant remind of his fallen brethren. Which explains his fondness towards being called by a shorter version of his CT number, 99. A true hero of the republic, and a valiant soldier. Maybe someday he’ll get back on the front. But for now he’s an ace in the hanger. Utilizing his modified arm to drill, fuse and screw hull parts together at lighting speeds.
