I took a picture of a plant at the herb garden. Using a 24-70mm lens, I was able to have a large aperture and focus on the flower only. It was hard to get a picture of the flower because it is so short, I had to get really low on the ground.

In post, I cropped the image so it fits the rule of thirds and applied a high contrast filter.
