Powers of the Heavens [Explore]

A small but incredibly photogenic thunderstorm cell formed right above my hometown — and I happened to be in the right place at the right time.

Last time, my drone mission ended in pouring rain, but luckily the equipment survived — otherwise this image probably wouldn't exist.

 

This time, everything went more smoothly: better preparation, no wet return flight, and my nerves got a break too.

The sky took care of the drama anyway.
