1964 Ford Galaxie 500 Convertible (2)
Front-quarter view of a 1964 Ford Galaxie 500 2-door, 6-passenger convertible coupe ragtop, [76A], painted in what looks like “Cascade Green” w/ black vinyl top. Assuming this is a base 500 model, as there are no “XL” or V8 emblems (unless they have been removed or lost), meaning this could originally be a 6-cylinder car. Aftermarket hubcaps, car was supplied new by “Oakley of Memphis” (according to script on rear).
Spotted at a classic car show on the Ionian island of Kefalonia, Greece. One of the guys working at this hotel explained this Galaxie was his favourite car here, as he “liked rap music” and this car reminded him of “rap videos with the ladies”.
