May The Odds Be Ever In Your Favor...
Finally able to go see The Hunger Games... Went with my two daughters, my son-in-law and my hubby... My son-in-law and I had read the books, no one else had... No contest, the book was better... I did like the movie, but there were things left out that I think should have been in there... There wasn't enough of Rue, who I thought was one of the best characters in the book... I thought there would be more about the Avox (the redhead girl they saw in the woods)... I can understand the camera being bouncy in some of the scenes, but in other scenes in kind of made me dizzy... And I think it would have been good to see Haymitch fall off the stage, after all, he was a major drunk in the book... I really believe you need to read the book first to understand the movie...
