Hand prints

There was a tree near Blake's grave with these strange hand prints on. I asked the two gardeners there what the tree was and one of them replied it was a fig tree. I wondered whether a fig had any special significance for Blake and the gardener replied that he had heard that Blake liked to sit around naked in his garden, so maybe he wore a fig leaf!
