Endangered stork of expansive wetlands and fields in East Asia. A pair were spotted at Mai Po Nature Reserve, Hong Kong on 21 Nov 2020. They would probably be wintering here until mid March next year. This shot was captured some 8 yrs ago when a single bird arrived on 11 July 2012, HK's first summer record.
