A quick moisty take on M42
C: Sony ILCE-7RM2
T: Takahashi FSQ-106ED @f/5
M: 10Micron GM1000HPS
F: Optolong L-Pro
E: 2x480" +5x120" = 22' @ISO100
L: Castello Roganzuolo (TV), Italy
N: The atmosphere was getting moistier, but I saw what was crossing the meridian, in that moment I felt I couldn't end the night without taking some pictures of M42.
The two sets of exposures are combined to create an HigherDR image, but it seems this subject requires more than 2 stops of exposure between the sets.
I must say, I'm not impressed by the color rendition. Maybe it's the filter, maybe it's the polluted sky. I like my other version taken in Tenerife much more.
