First day.
After leaving home for our vacay, and arriving to the archipelago, my wife said: "Look at me, I look like Morticia Addams. So pale!"
I said: "You work indoors, I don´t
Of course you are pale, it´s a part of your Finnish heritage.
I´ll take a photo now, and another at the end of the vacation to see the difference. Maybe you´ll look like me by then."
She looked at me, wearily.
Said: "Not sure I want to be as tanned as you. During summer, you look like a 16th century, poor peasant, working in the fields all day."
(That comment made me think of a career as a laidback farmer, strolling around all day in a corn field or something.)
