...car damages, shooting, dog biting, a person resigning and stepping down etc.

 

A good day, really.

 

I suggested champagne, but she suggested, smiling, a crash in bed.

 

Good choice.

 

Here we are now.

She is silently snoring, like a cat, and here am I, beside her, just smiling in the dark.
