1980 Raleigh Competition (original)
My 1980 Raleigh Competition as it was when i bought it from the fellow in Atlanta in August 2009. The fellow from whom i bought it purchased it from the original owner, a gentleman from Germany, who bought the bicycle in France in April of 1982. Later, the original owner moved to Atlanta. This bicycle was built-up in France in 1981 with Shimano 600 Arabesque components. I have the original hubs (6 speed) and rims (tubular).
