Lincolnshire Olympian on tour...
Here is the almost sole efforts of my bus restoration work for the last 18 months, ECW bodied Leyland Olympian, B503FFW. This bus was purchased by the Lincolnshire Vintage Vehicle Society (LVVS) from Johnson's of Hodthorpe near Worksop in late 2014. Ihad previously been operated by Stagecoach East Midlands, who inherited the vehicle from original owners Lincolnshire Roadcar.
I have a personal attachment to this bus as it was new into service on my 11th birthday, and is also one of the few preserved buses that I have driven in service. It is seen here on Station Street in Nottingham, I had driven the bus there from Lincoln and dropped myself off. Fellow LVVS member Andy Moore took over the driving, and the bus was later on display at an event at Ruddington.
