Pokud vás němčina pobuřuje, omlouvám se, ale sem prostě patří. Obzvlášť sem, do tohohle kraje. Je 10. březen 2010 a tady u Svoru to furt na jaro nevypadá. Ale už je to spíš vizuální dojem; jakmile seskočíš z toho kolíku, na kterým stojíš, spadneš do sněhový břečky. Nedá se svítit, rekordní zima téhle doby už fakt končí. Přesně dva měsíce po tom, co sníh zasypal české hory i nížiny. Nikdy před tím ani potom jsem něco takového nezažil, nebo aspoň ne v době, kdy jsem z toho měl rozum a mohl si to užívat.
A tak si ještě jednu pořádnou zimní dáme, ne? Trávím tady v Lužických horách už druhý den v řadě. Ne a ne se od nich odtrhnout. A nová práce, kde jsem zatím spíš formálně a na výplatní pásce, mi to po letech veřejnoprávní dřiny umožňuje.
Je krátce po druhé odpoledne a dočkal jsem se. Od Svoru sjíždí do Nového Boru odpolední Pnko, tentokrát vedené ošuntělou 750.252. Ra-ta-ta-ta, hřmí závěrka.
A hotovo. Úplně poslední fakt zimní fotka, dál sice ještě sníh potkáme, ale už to bude spíš předjaří. Díky za ty dary.

When I wrote the Czech version of this caption, I felt a kind of necessary to start with a quotation from Franz Kafka's masterpiece Der Schloss/Zámek, both in Czech and in German as I truly feel that both languages simply do belong to this country. This (and the previous) picture is taken in Lusatian Mountains (Lužické hory/Lausitzer Gebirge), a small, yet very interesting mountain range at the northern border of the Czech Republic. A little side note here: in Czechia it is felt somewhat natural that the border comes on the mountains when travelling across it, in most cases, you have to go up the hill, cross the line and then down the hill. Here it is a lot different as there is a significant bulge of Czech territory behind it. But German language has historically the same legitimate place in here, as for most of the modern history
And this train was to serve that bulge with cargo. It is 10th March 2010 and the snow shroud keeps covering significant parts of the country for unbelievable two months now. However, the end is near and you could feel it immediately when you stepped into the soft and wet snow. The Sun is simply too strong already.
This is the last chance for a real winter picuture and I tried pretty hard to make use of it. After 2 PM she comes: good old, chippy "Goggles" 750.252. Taka-taka-taka...
What a winter this was!
