30. prosinec 2008: Umíráček mechaniky / The Semaphore Retirng
Mechaniky, ta zvláštní fotičská posedlost... Nikdy jsem na ně zas tak moc netrpěl, ale tohle návěstidlo se vymyká. Dá se totiž celkem pěkně zrekonstruovat jeho osud. Poslyšte: instalováno v roce 1924, v roce 1966 osazeno elektrickou svítilnou. Ale tady už musí samo tušit, že se jeho osud po 85 letech naplní.
Stanice Vráž u Písku, poledne 30. prosince 2008. U staniční budovy už stojí návěstidla a kopou se kabelovody, dálkovina je za dveřmi. Ale na téhle fotce vypadá všechno ještě úplně v pořádku. A z toho malýho stromku sleduju podívanou, která by se mohla odehrát klidně o třicet let dřív.
Rameno letí nahoru a za chvíli se od Čimelic ozve netlumený šestiválec. Ale jenom si tak přichrochtává, co taky s těmi dvěma vozy, že jo. R 1246 s 749.039 jede načas - a taky poloprázdný. A já budu za chvíli muset všeho nechat a pelášit do Písku na povinný rodinný výlet s tou slečnou. Se kterou se, mimochodem, rozejdeme ještě dřív, než tyhle mechaniky definitivně sundají. :-)

Classical railway semaphores, what a topic! This one is really exceptional. Built in 1924 and re-equipped with lightning bulbs in 1966, exactly ten years ago was counting down the last days in service. Czech Republic, station Vráž u Písku.
All out of sudden you can hear a metal bump, that's the semaphore arm going up. And in a while, you can hear the barking engine in distance, that massive six-cylinder K6S310. Not on a full-throttle definitely, who would use it with just two cars. And the scene that you could see well over 30 years ago repeats once again.
It is 30th of December 2008. The original equipment of the station has just a few weeks remaining.

Die klassische Signale, was für ein Thema für den Eisenbahnfotografen! Diese Aufnahme ist bestimmt außergewöhnlich. Gebaut in 1924 und im 1966 mit den Glüghbirnen ausgerüstet, damals im 2008 hat dises Signal nur wenige Wochen vor sich.
Tschechische Republik, Vráž u Písku, KBS 200 Zdice - Protivín. Man kann nur einen lauten Schlag hören, das war der Signalarm, wie es ging oben. Und dann, da hinter der Kurve kann man Brummen der grandiosen K6S310 Motor hören. Bestimmt nicht Volldampf, warum so, mit bloß zwei Wagen. Und so wiederholt sich die Szene die man vor 30 Jahren sehen kann. Aber wie lange so?
Es ist den 30. Dezember 2008, genau vor zehn Jahre.
