Reflections of an Island

The sun had risen over the hills and was slowly burning the mist off the lake and Derwent Isle on Derwent Water in the Lake District National Park slowly began to emerge

 

If you look carefully you can see a man emerging from the mist in his canoe.

 

On the Isle is Derwent Island House an 18th-century Italianate house which is in the ownership of the National Trust.
