Glasgow Corporation Alexander Leyland Atlantean DGE 321C
Glasgow Corporation Alexander (H44/34F) Leyland Atlantean PDR1/1 DGE 321C fleet number LA284 (new December 1965). I won this slide on eBay six years and paid £20, the seller described that the image was taken when the bus was new. I always thought that LA284 was photographed many years later at an open day. Following me posting this image two Flickr members who follow me, have kindly supplied additional information. LA284 visited Munich at the end of 1965, which is the location, the giveaway is Munich on the destination display, also note the illuminated BOAC VC10 advert. They have also advised me that it is a very rare image to have in a collection. I would like to thank preselected and Mark Evans for their help and advice.
