United Counties JNV304D
Bristol SUL4A / ECW JNV 304D was one of several similar vehicles purchased by United Counties in 1966 and then stored until late 1967 before entry into service. At the time the Bristol SUL model was an old design and was shortly to be superseded by the new Bristol LH. As it was, United Counties disliked both these vehicles and the LH's that came after them, none were destined to have a long life. JNV 304D served at Leighton Buzzard garage from December 1967 until December 1972, only 5 years, and then passed to Sid Twell of Ingham, Lincs for scrap during 1973.
