AAA Transport Services of Luton purchased this Ford Transit 'Longcube' R826 PVJ with a Mayflower body conversion when nearly new in 1999 complete with Herefordshire 'VJ' registration. It served the company well, clocking up many hundreds of thousands of miles and is seen here in July 2001 at AAA's Julius Gardens, Luton base. Alongside is Toyota HiAce IUI 9013 which was a Japanese import and acquired through Irish motor auctions, it operated as a non-PSV for AAA and later passed to an Aylesbury taxi operator.
