The Disharoon store is a prominent fixture in the center of Quantico. The gable-front frame structure, erected around 1890-1910 has an intact street elevation with a recessed double-door entrance and flanking display windows. The rectangular two-story front block is extended to the rear
by an older mid nineteenth century store building that was probably moved back from the street or relocated from another site. The mid nineteenth century store is particularly significant with its unaltered features. A A double-door entrance is flanked by large six-over-six sash window openings covered with paneled shutters. In addition, the wall retains an old red and white color scheme
