Messier 92 or NGC 6341, a globular cluster in the constellation of Hercules. At a distance of around 26,700 light years from Earth it has an apparent magnitude of 6.3 and apparent dimensions of 14’. Often overlooked due to its proximity to M13 – The Great Globular Cluster it is still worth a look in the northern summer skies.
