Coal tit caching seeds

Stocking up on black sunflower seeds - when a Coal Tit finds a suitable supply of seeds in autumn (like the black sunflower seeds in this coconut shell feeder) it will take one and fly away to hide it somewhere, such as a crevice in tree bark, then return time-after-time to do the same thing.

The blue tits and great tits will take a seed then find a nearby perch to dehusk and eat the seed immediately.
