Where the wind blows

Whether it's generated by the oratory tendencies of politicians, legendary big-mouthed raconteurs, bovine flatulence, or just good ol' millibars and the heating and cooling of the earth, the wind rarely stops blowing up on the Llano Estacado.

And the trains rarely quit rolling.

At 8:15 am on May 15th, 2022, it's hot already across the busted sod of the Hereford Subdivision near Black, Texas as three GE Toasters speed containers towards West Coast ports.

The Transcon never sleeps and never takes a Sunday off.
